PARTICIPATION
Only the Head of the Research Project can register on-line at http://www.uitmrmi.org/iid2010. Refer to the Dean/Director of Branch Campus/Head of Department for verification before you can proceed with the on-line registration. The registration must be verified by Dean/Campus Director/Head of Department for the on-line acceptance.
Please refer to the Dean / Director of Branch Campus / Head of Dept. for verification before you can proceed with the IID on-line registration.
A username / password has been emailed to the Dean / Director of Branch Campus / Head of Department for this purpose.
Upon verification, you will then be given a username and password via email to proceed with the registration.
The on-line registration is between 5th October and 6th November 2009. Submission after this deadline will not be accepted.
IID2010: PARTICIPATION TERMS
1. Participation is opened to all academics, non-academic staff and students. The project must be an outcome of research
2. For the Young IID category
(a) the Head of Research Project must be a registered student (staff on study leave must register under Staff Category)
(b) The student’s project must be an outcome of PhD, Masters or Undergraduate final year projects
4. An academic paper out of this research project has either been submitted or accepted by a journal. Researcher must present supporting evidence to panel of judges on judging day for marks
5. Only the Head of the Research Project can register on-line. All on-line participations must be verified by the Dean/Branch Director/Head of Department for acceptance
6. Registration fee:
(a) Staff category: RM200.00
(b) Young IID category : RM100.00
7. Modes of payment are as shown:
a. Cash at Pejabat Bendahari Zon 17, UiTM Shah Alam
b. Cheque/bank draft/postal order to Pejabat Bendahari Zon 17, UiTM Shah Alam
c. Transfer (tt/ibg/eft/credit card)

7. Collaborative research projects with industry partners is highly encouraged. However both parties must agree (in writing) to co-own the Intellectual Property rights
8. Research project that has won medals at other R&D expositions, both national or international level are not accepted. However, exception is allowed if there has been a significant new innovation done on the same research project since winning the medals
9. Adding members to the project is not allowed after the closing date
10. Last date to withdraw (with refund) is 15 December 2009. No refund will be given for withdrawal after this date
11. Results are final. Any correspondence about the result will not be entertained
